As subsidiaries of the "Mitsui & Co., Ltd.", Aglobis GmbH, Aglobis BV and Aglobis AG, collectively referred to as the "Aglobis Group", are united by a common vision. Our goal is to utilize our logistical assets, including our tank terminal, trucks and rail cars operated by our partners at Ruhrtrans, to establish ourselves as the primary distributor of sulfur and sulfuric acid logistics services in Europe. Environmental Issues related to Business Activities

Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation

Aglobis Group is committed to taking decisive action to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, while simultaneously addressing the challenges of climate change through both mitigation and adaptation strategies. We aim to transition towards a decarbonized society and mitigate the adverse impacts of climate change.

In alignment with the Mitsui GHG Reduction Targets, Aglobis Group has set ambitious goals:

• 2050 Vision: Achieve net-zero emissions.

• 2030 Pathway: Halve our Scope 1 and 2 Emissions GHG impact compared to the fiscal year ended March 2020.

Energy Efficiency

Energy efficiency is a critical component of our environmental strategy. By improving energy efficiency, we reduce greenhouse gas emissions and decrease our overall environmental footprint. Our approach includes continuously refining our operational processes to use energy more efficiently, which involves regular maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and the implementation of advanced technologies that minimize energy consumption.

Renewable Energy Deployment

In addition to improving energy efficiency, Aglobis Group is dedicated to increasing the use of renewable energy sources. Our renewable energy strategy includes integrating renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and biomass into our energy supply, aiming to increase the proportion of energy we obtain from these sources year on year. We also form strategic partnerships with renewable energy providers to ensure a plannable transition to a supply of green energy for our operations, allowing us to benefit from the latest advancements in renewable energy technology.

Water Conservation and Efficiency

We will strive to conserve water resources by being mindful of water use. We will also evaluate our future business activities to avoid situating them in high water stress zones.

Biodiversity

We will assess the biodiversity impact of our business activities and disclose the results. Where it is indicated we take actions to conserve and promote biodiversity.

Pollution Prevention

We will act to reduce hazardous waste and pollutants, ensuring the proper handling and disposal of such materials. We strive to prevent air, water, ocean, and soil pollution, including the prevention of spills involving hazardous chemicals, through regular maintenance and investment in up-to-date technology.

Remedy

We will use appropriate processes to remedy environmental impacts found to have arisen from our business activities or relevant supply chains. This includes proactive measures to prevent and address spills of hazardous chemicals.

Sustainable Resource Use

We will improve efficiency in the use of resources and energy while reducing waste. By pursuing business in the circular economy, we aim to achieve economic growth while minimizing our environmental impact. Our business in sulphur itself exemplifies this approach, as we market sulphur—a byproduct of other industrial processes—thereby contributing to resource efficiency and waste reduction. Additionally, we will prevent the disposal of off-spec materials by reselling or repurposing them whenever possible.

Environmental Management System

We will implement a strong environmental management system to meet the previously defined environmental objectives, and pursue continuous improvement and appropriate governance through periodic review.

Environmental Advocacy

We strive to lead by example and promote environmental protection throughout our supply chain. We emphasize the importance of stakeholder dialogue and actively participate in environmental advocacy. We expect our business partners to understand and adhere to our Sustainable Supply Chain Policy. Additionally, we support efforts that promote sustainability by promptly responding to customer inquiries about this topic.

Our suppliers are selected and evaluated based on criteria beyond economics; we favor partners who are committed to environmental protection. Our goal is for 100% of key suppliers to contractually commit to our Supply Chain Policy annually.

Education and Training

We will provide comprehensive training and development opportunities for our employees and officers to enhance their ability to understand and act in accordance with this policy. This includes specialized training in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, ensuring our team is well-equipped to integrate sustainability into their daily operations and decision-making processes.

Reporting

We will continuously report our efforts and progress through our management review and voluntarly participating in business sustainability ratings like Ecovadis.

Compliance with Relevant Environmental Laws and Regulations

In pursuing our business activities, Aglobis Group is committed to complying with all relevant environmental laws and regulations, international standards, and any agreements made by our company. To ensure ongoing compliance with evolving legal requirements, we will review the legal registers of our subsidiaries every six months and share any changes in the organization.
